Last night I watched half a movie. Released in 2006, it had high production values and should have been decent. But the film didn't have a central star to carry it. All characters had equal weight. Too many people told the story.
It's the same with photographs. I was browsing around Marco Prozzo's site this morning. I like: "Eat"/Deserted Café, Eastern Oregon.
Notice how Marco has a "star" in many of his images? Without something to lead the eye, the image falls to mush.
